BIST 100 Started The Day With Horizontal Movement

BIST 100 started the day with a horizontal movement. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with 1,442.88 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 0.82 points and 0.06 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1,442.88 points. While the banking index lost its value by 0.10 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.11 percent. Among the industry indices, sports were the most profitable 1.7 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on mining with 0.39 percent. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.83 percent and ended the day at 1,442.06 points. Analysts said that the World Economic Outlook Report and the Global Financial Stability Report to be released today, as well as the speeches of International Monetary Fund (IMF) President Kristalina Georgieva, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and World Bank President David Malpass will be followed. It was stated that the real effective exchange rate data in the country today, the unemployment rate in the Eurozone abroad and the number of JOLTS vacancies in the USA stand out. In technical terms, analysts stated that the range of 1.465 and 1.510 is in the resistance position and 1.410 points in the support position in the BIST 100 index.
