Bitcoin's rise hurt futures. Over $450 million has been liquidated in Bitcoin (BTC) during the last 24 hours.
The leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (
BTC) rose above $47,500, reaching the highest level in the last 3 months. With this rise of Bitcoin, over 450 million dollars have been liquidated in the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin has increased by about 13.5% in the last 7 days, rising to its highest value since January 2, 2022. On the other hand, with this rise in Bitcoin, the amount of liquidation has exceeded 450 million dollars in the last 24 hours.
The largest liquidation was seen on the FTX exchange, according to data obtained by Coinglass. More than $48 million long positions and more than $101 million short positions were liquidated in FTX. In addition, OKX,
Binance and Bybit followed FTX. It should also be noted that many of the liquidations were seen in short positions.
Finally, the biggest liquidation was, of course, seen in Bitcoin. In total, more than $169 million in BTC was liquidated. Ethereum (ETH) followed Bitcoin with $117 million.
