BRSA extended the duration of some epidemic supports. The deadline, which will expire on June 30, has been withdrawn to the end of September.
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) announced that some of the
supports that will expire on June 30 have been extended to the end of September. By providing flexibility in delays in loan payments until September 30, 2021, delayed loans will continue to be waited for 180 days instead of 90 days before being transferred to follow-up accounts.
In the statement of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA), it was stated that some of the temporary regulations in some liabilities that had to be fulfilled by banks due to the pandemic were re-evaluated and it was decided to extend some regulations that were supposed to expire on June 30 to the end of September.

In the calculation of the amount subject to credit risk, in accordance with the Regulation on the Measurement and Evaluation of Capital Adequacy of Banks; It has been extended by 3 months to use the simple arithmetic average of the Central Bank's foreign exchange buying rates for the last 252 business days before the calculation date, when calculating the amounts of monetary assets and non-monetary assets, other than foreign currency items measured in historical cost, in accordance with Turkish Accounting Standards and related special provisions. .
