BtcTurk prepares to establish a venture capital investment fund. BtcTurk CEO Özgür Güneri stated that they are working to establish a venture capital investment fund. Making a statement to Bloomberg HT television, Güneri stated that the necessary applications are being made to the CMB. BtcTurk CEO Güneri made the following statements to Bloomberg HT: “As always, our primary priority is to enable BtcTurk users to access different cryptocurrencies in a transparent and secure manner. In this sense, we continue to strengthen both our infrastructure and our team, but we also have a venture capital investment fund project that we have been working on recently. We signed a contract with a portfolio management company in Turkey. Necessary applications are now being made to the CMB. In the first place, we aim to launch Venture Capital Investment Fund with an asset of 25 million TL in accordance with the capital market communiqué and make some investments with it in the near term.

Target is 100 Million TL in a Year

Güneri stated that they aim to reach a size of 100 million TL in a one-year term in the venture capital fund and stated that all the details of the fund will be finalized in a short time after the permission of the CMB. BtcTurk CEO said, “We are a group that has accumulated a lot of experience in a rapidly developing new technology field in the last eight years. In this sense, we want to support the ideas that will emerge not only to take our current business further, but also to feel the change and transformation brought by Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and block chain to our lives more and to have different experiences.”
