According to the announced data, in September, budget revenues increased by 25.1 percent compared to the same month of 2019, reaching 78 billion 916 million lira, budget expenditures increased by 34.4 percent and reached 108 billion 580 million lira. In the January-September period, budget revenues increased by 11.6 percent compared to the same period of 2019 and reached 729 billion 422 million lira, and budget expenditures increased by 17.6 percent to 870 billion 13 million lira. Thus, the central government budget had a deficit of 29 billion 665 million TL in September and 140 billion 591 million TL in January-September period.
