Changes Were Made In The CBRT Council

The CBRT assembly was also changed. Following the changes of president and vice president, there were also changes in the parliament.

Following the recent changes in the Presidency and Vice Presidency of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), changes were made in the CBRT council. Prof. Dr. Nurullah Genç and Derya Yücel were re-elected as members of the Board with the nomination of the Treasury. Genç has been serving as a member of the Central Bank Board since May 1, 2015, and Yücel since May 1, 2018. Board member Ömer Duman was dismissed with the motion of the Treasury. Duman was also a member of the Monetary Policy Committee. Ertan Aydın was elected in the General Assembly to replace him with the suggestion of the Treasury. After the recent changes in the bank, the Monetary Policy Committee consists of the following people: Prof. Dr. Şahap Kavcıoğlu (Chairman) Dr. Emrah Şener Dr. Uğur Namık Küçük Dr. Oğuzhan Özbaş Mustafa Duman Ömer Duman Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yavaş
