With the acceleration of discussions in the Clubhouse rooms regarding the events in Taiwan and the Xinjiang Uyghur region at the weekend, users in China stated that they could not access the platform.
According to the news in Bloomberg, the complaints of users regarding the restriction of access to the Clubhouse were discussed in Weibo and WeChat applications such as Twitter, which are other social media platforms used in
China. 51 million post were shared on Weibo with the Clubhouse hashtag.
Thousands of people participated in the Taiwan and Xinjiang Uyghur region issues discussed in Clubhouse rooms over the weekend. The application had gathered Chinese citizens from different parts of the world who wanted to participate in discussions on these issues.
Clubhouse application quickly became popular in the country. Following the rapid increase in interest in the platform in China, invitations of the application were put on sale for about $ 45 in the Alibaba e-commerce application.
