The European statistical office (Eurostat) has released seasonally adjusted construction production data for December 2019 from the European Union (EU) and the Eurozone.
Accordingly, construction production in the 19-member eurozone fell 3.1 percent in December compared with November. Construction production declined 3.7 percent compared to December 2018.
Construction production in the EU fell 2.8 percent in December compared to the previous month and 2.6 percent compared to the same period of 2018.
So average construction production increased by 1.8 percent in the Eurozone and 2.4 percent in the EU in 2019 compared to 2018.
