Consumer Confidence Increased to 84.5 in February

confidence increased to 84.5 in February. The seasonally adjusted Consumer Confidence Index, which is calculated from the results of the consumer trend survey conducted jointly by the
Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, increased by 1.5 percent this month compared to January. The index, which was 83.3 in January, has increased to 84.5 this month.
Financial Condition of the Household Index Increased
Compared to the past 12 months, the financial condition of the household index increased from 63.7 in January to 66.3 in February, with an increase of 4.1 percent.
Financial Situation Expectations of the Household Increased Slightly
Compared to the next 12 months, the financial situation expectation index of the household was announced as 83.8 in January, and reached 84.5 by increasing 0.8 percent in February.
General Economic Situation Expectations Index Increased
The general economic situation expectation index compared to the next 12 months period, which was 88.2 in January, was announced as 91.7 with an increase of 4.0 percent in February.
Spending on Durable Goods Index Decreases
In the next 12 months, the index of spending on durable goods in the last 12-month period fell by 1.9 percent in February to 95.5.
