Iran. As the diplomatic traffic regarding nuclear talks continues, an important statement came from Iran. Speaking on the subject, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that his country enriched uranium with 60 percent purity.
Ghalibaf, who posted on Twitter, made statements about the uranium enrichment efforts of his country, which caused tension between Iran and global powers.
Stating that Iranian scientists have managed to enrich uranium with a purity of 60 percent, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf noted that the will of the people will neutralize any conspiracy against the country.
Ali Akbar Salihi, President of the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency, confirmed the step in question and stated that the details of the issue will be clarified later.
Iran's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas Araghchi made a statement on April 13 and wrote a letter to the President of the
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Mariano Grossi and stated that Iran has started to enrich uranium with 60 percent purity.
Learning that Iran will enrich uranium with 60 percent purity, Britain, France and Germany called on Iran to "not complicate the diplomatic process any more".
