Croatia is opening its borders to tourists

Croatia is opening its borders to tourists. From April, tourists from the European Union can enter Croatia after submitting a negative antigen or PCR test for SARS-CoV-2. The test results must not be older than 48 hours before arrival at the border crossing. In the case of a rapid antigen test and a stay in the Republic of Croatia for more than 10 days, the test must be performed again by the tenth day from the date of issue of this test. Children under the age of seven do not have to take the tests. The new measures introduced by Croatia on April 1 this year were presented at a press conference on Wednesday by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and the Minister of the Interior, Davor Božinović. A European tourist will also arrive in Croatia upon presentation of a coronavirus vaccination certificate, which he / she has received 14 days after the second vaccine or a single vaccination. Also, a certificate of overcoming COVID-19 will be enough to arrive in Croatia. When crossing the border crossings of the Republic of Croatia and staying in the Republic of Croatia, all persons are obliged to follow the epidemiological measures and general and special recommendations and guidelines of the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
