Measures were taken to solve the
oil problem that may come to the fore after Russia's attack on Ukraine.
The customs duty on imports of oil used for technical and industrial purposes, rapeseed and rapeseed oil has been set to zero until June 30.
According to the decision published in today's issue of the Official Gazette and amending the import regime decision, the products that will be subject to zero customs duty on imports include crude pomace, soybean, safflower, sunflower seed, and corn oils.
With the communiqué on the export of some agricultural products published in the same newspaper, the export of some animal food, various flours and some oils, and the products that the Ministry of Agriculture has the authority to regulate periodically were added to the list.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, there is a periodic period in the export of rice, wheat and corn flour, wheat and corn semolina, soybeans, sunflower seeds, safflower or cotton seeds, rape, rapeseed and mustard, corn oil and their fractions, margarine, bulgur and mixed feed. It is included in the list of products that can be edited.
It was on the agenda that the Russia-Ukraine war could drag
Turkey into an oil crisis.
Turkey, the world's largest sunflower importer, imports mainly from Ukraine and Russia. The crisis between the two countries has largely stopped
Turkey's crude oil imports.
