Daily Number of Cases Increasing in Europe The number of daily cases is increasing in Europe. Experts are concerned that the second wave will cause greater destruction than the first. The point reached in the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic is alarming everyone. The increase in the number of daily cases, especially in European countries, brings the concern that the second wave will be much worse than the first. In France, where the daily number of cases exceeded 30 thousand, the people are subject to a curfew at night. Although the working conditions are flexible, quarantine is not implemented for now, with the concern that the quarantine application will harm economic activities. In Italy, the state of emergency was extended until January 31, as the daily number of cases exceeded 11 thousand. In Germany, another country that broke a record by exceeding 7 thousand cases per day, cafe-bar hours were limited. The increase in cases seen in the Netherlands and Belgium has become alarming. The daily number of cases in both countries has exceeded 6 thousand. In the UK, the daily number of cases exceeded 16 thousand. In Wales, one of the autonomous regions, a 2-week quarantine application has been started. The quarantine, which will start on October 23, will end on November 9. In Poland and Czechia, two countries with the least number of cases in the early days of the epidemic, precautions began to be kept more stringent in the countries as the daily number of cases exceeded 6 thousand. Stating that there was an unprecedented process, European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde underlined that incentives should continue to minimize the damage to the economy in this process. Striving to keep economic activities from halting again, Euro Zone officials continue to purchase pandemic assets and provide incentive packages.
