Data on Commodity Trade Balance of USA Announced
Data on the commodity trade balance of
USA has been announced. The US Department of Commerce announced the September commodity trade balance, wholesale and retail stock data.
According to data released by the
US Department of Commerce, the trade deficit, known as the leading foreign trade deficit, fell by 4.5 percent in September compared to the previous month, to $ 79.4 billion.
In this period, exports of goods increased by 2.7 percent and reached 122 billion dollars, while goods imports decreased by 0.2 percent to 201.4 billion dollars.
The commodity trade deficit data for August was revised from $ 82.9 billion to $ 83.1 billion.
Meanwhile, wholesale stocks decreased by 0.1 percent month on month in September, while retail stocks increased by 1.6 percent.
