Electricity Prices Are Determined In The Spot Market (January 23)
In the spot electricity market of Turkey on January 23, the prices are determined for one megawatt-hour electricity for tomorrow, the highest 318.85 lira; The lowest was determined as 170.01 lira.
According to the data published by Energy Markets Management Inc. (EPIAS), the transaction volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 10.5 percent today compared to yesterday and was recorded as 150 million 12 thousand 846 liras. The price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 318.85 lira at 6 pm; The lowest hour was determined as 170.01 lira at 9 am. While the arithmetic average price of one megawatt-hour electricity in the day ahead market is 277.97 lira; The weighted average price was 278.51 lira.
