Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 3
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 3 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 915 thousand 195 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 899 thousand 924 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 44 thousand 63 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 615 megawatt-hour at 4 am.
While 915 thousand 195 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 899 thousand 924 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 26.75 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 22.08 percent and wind power plants with 15.25 percent.
Besides, 2,761 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 17,848 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
