At the end of another week, which investment tool profited? Which investment tool lost the most? Here is the weekly summary of the investment tools... This week, stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 3.48 percent on a weekly basis and the selling price of gold per gram gained 1.68 percent, while the USD/TL exchange rate gained 1.67 percent and the Euro/TL rate gained 1.23 percent. This week, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul saw the lowest 1,371.43 points and the highest 1,438.88 points. After these levels, the BIST 100 index finished the week at 1,430.19 points with a 3.48 percent gain compared to its previous closing. This week, the selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar rose to 453.20 lira with a 1.68 percent gain in value, while the selling price of Republican gold rose by 1.66 percent to 3,006.00 lira. The sales price of the quarter gold, which was 723.00 lira last week, reached 734.00 lira. The US dollar, which gained 1.67 percent value this week, rose to 8,1460 lira, while the Euro gained 1.23 percent to 9,5720 lira. This week, mutual funds gained 1.50 percent in value, while private pension funds gained 1.82 percent. In terms of categories, the highest earning among mutual funds was recorded as "Stock Funds" with 4.39 percent.
