Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on December 13 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 831 thousand 318 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 820 thousand 434 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 38 thousand 823 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 688 megawatt-hour at 6 am.
While 831 thousand 318 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 820 thousand 434 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 29.66 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.83 percent and lignite coal plants with 16.56 percent.
Besides, 255 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 12,139 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
