Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on December 20 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 827 thousand 685 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 815 thousand 295 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 82 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 865 megawatt-hour at 6 am.
While 827 thousand 685 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 815 thousand 295 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 36.11 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 24.26 percent and lignite coal plants with 13.99 percent.
Besides, 149 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 12,538 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
