Turkey will send students to China for nuclear energy training. In this framework, auditions have begun to be held for the 2021-2022 academic year.
To improve the trained human resources in the nuclear energy field in Turkey, graduate students will be sent to China. Selection of students from Turkey wil be held for the 2021-2022 academic year for the
Tsinghua University in International Nuclear Energy Engineering and Management master's program.
Scholarships will be awarded by the People's Republic of China to students who have been accepted to the program, which lasts for 4 years. While students will be exempt from tuition and program application fees for 2 years, students will also be provided with accommodation and health insurance.
In addition, these facilities include a monthly allowance of approximately 5,500 lira, round-trip flight tickets and Chinese language courses.
What are the Application Requirements for the Program?
To apply for the program, the knowledge of English must be at an advanced level and the GPA must be at least 2.5. In addition, it is required to graduate in June 2021 at the latest.
Candidates who want to apply for the program must send the required documents to the relevant e-mail address of the Ministry of Energy until January 3, 2021.
The Agreement was Signed in 2012
"Cooperation Agreement on the Use of Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes" was signed in 2012 between
China and Turkey.
Students who graduate from graduate programs initiated in China are also taking part in studies conducted in Turkey.
