Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on December 27 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 820 thousand 337 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 812 thousand 826 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 193 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 765 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 820 thousand 337 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 812 thousand 826 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 29.86 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 22.06 percent and lignite coal plants with 16.85 percent.
Besides, 2.102 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 9,619 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
