Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on February 14 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 826 thousand 891 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 821 thousand 426 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 751 megawatt-hour at 8 am, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 641 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 826 thousand 891 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 821 thousand 426 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 26.4 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 24.4 percent and wind power plants with 14.1 percent.
Besides, 4,693 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 10,151 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
