Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on June 13 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 834 thousand 553 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 833 thousand 445 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 186 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 475 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 834 thousand 553 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 833 thousand 445 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 42.5 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 14.5 percent and wind power plants with 13 percent.
While 7,906 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 8,886 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
