Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on June 19 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 893 thousand 435 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 888 thousand 25 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 42 thousand 436 megawatt-hour at 3 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 655 megawatt-hour at 6 am.
While 893 thousand 435 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 888 thousand 25 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 38.2 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 14.9 percent and wind power plants with 13 percent.
While 7,728 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 13,102 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
