Partnership Of Goldman Sachs And Crypto Investment Giant Galaxy Digital
Goldman Sachs has decided to partner with the leading investor of the crypto asset world, Galaxy Digital.
The partnership of
Goldman Sachs and crypto investment giant Galaxy Digital created excitement in the market. One of the world's largest banks Goldman Sachs and the leading investor of the cryptocurrency world Galaxy Digital forms a partnership.
Finance giant Goldman Sachs launched Bitcoin futures trading product in cooperation with Galaxy Digital for its customers.
According to CNBC,
Goldman Sachs is partnering with a crypto-asset-based liquidity provider for the first time with this partnership. Galaxy Digital's Damien Vanderwilt is using a digital asset firm as a counterparty after the cryptocurrency desk established by Goldman last month.
Damien Vanderwilt is a former Goldman Sachs employee. Vanderwilt said Goldman's moves on Bitcoin are a guarantee for other banks to do the same. Vandervilt stated that since the giant bank cannot directly handle the cryptocurrency universe with its regulated structure, it should cooperate with Galaxy Digital.
It is also said that the giant financial institution will offer CME Group Bitcoin futures as an expansion of the recently established crypto trading desk. Goldman Sachs' head of digital assets in the Asia-Pacific region, Max Minton, underlined that they want their customers to have secure access to the assets they want to trade, and said:
“Our goal is to equip our clients with best practice pricing and secure access to the assets they want to trade. In 2021, we are delighted to have found a partner with a wide range of liquidity and diverse derivatives capabilities that now spans the crypto ecosystem, including crypto.”
