Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on March 13 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 912 thousand 322 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 908 thousand 38 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 44 thousand 344 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 48 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 912 thousand 322 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 908 thousand 38 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 28.5 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 19 percent and wind power plants with 15.9 percent.
Besides, 4,259 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 8,383 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
