Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 15
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 15 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 628 thousand 472 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 623 thousand 301 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 30 thousand 66 megawatt-hour at 9 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 20 thousand 497 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 628 thousand 472 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 623 thousand 301 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 17 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 15,9 percent and wind power plants with 14.4 percent.
While 4,620 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 9,769 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
