Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 22 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 858 thousand 615 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 855 thousand 343 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 40 thousand 704 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 350 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 858 thousand 615 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 855 thousand 343 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 30.47 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 14.39 percent and wind power plants with 12.67 percent.
While 5,272 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 8,409 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
