Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 29 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 871 thousand 196 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 867 thousand 169 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 41 thousand 288 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 389 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 871 thousand 196 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 867 thousand 169 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 34.5 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 15.4 percent and wind power plants with 13.7 percent.
While 6,657 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 10,524 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
