Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on November 6 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 843 thousand 133 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 832 thousand 551 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 941 megawatt-hour at 6 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 207 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 843 thousand 133 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 832 thousand 551 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 29 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.5 percent and lignite coal plants with 17 percent.
Besides, 72 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 11,654 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
