Free Market Opening Prices on November 6
On November 6, foreign currency opening prices have been announced in the free market. While the dollar traded at 8,4260 liras in the Istanbul free market, the euro started the day at 9,9520.
While the results of the 59th
presidential election in the USA, which had the highest turnout on November 3, continue to be announced, the expectations that Biden, the presidential candidate of the Democrats, possible win, continue to put pressure on the market. However, the Bloomberg dollar index increased by 0.2 percent with expectations that
Biden will win.
While the election results are expected to be clarified, the dollar taken at the level of 8,4240 lira in the Istanbul free market is sold at 8,4260 liras. While the euro is bought for 9,9500 lira, it is sold at 9,5020 lira.
The selling price of the dollar was 8,4510 lira at the closing on Thursday, and the selling price of the euro was 9,9950 lira.
