Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 13 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 880 thousand 150 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 878 thousand 229 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 40 thousand 518 megawatt-hour at 5 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 300 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 880 thousand 150 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 878 thousand 229 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 29.46 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 21.81 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 19.61 percent.
Besides, 794 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 3,715 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
