Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 21 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 750 thousand 536 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 744 thousand 449 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 35 thousand 960 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 26 thousand 825 megawatt-hour at 8 am.
While 750 thousand 536 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 744 thousand 449 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 28.87 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 25.69 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 13.80 percent.
Besides, 578 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 6,666 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
