Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 27 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 814 thousand 17 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 812 thousand 364 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released yesterday by the
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 38 thousand 897 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 306 megawatt-hour at 8 am.
While 814 thousand 17 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 812 thousand 364 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 30.44 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 23.56 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 12.27 percent.
Besides, 5,757 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 7,409 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
