Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, made a written statement on the issue. In his written statement, Minister Pakdemirli stated that they employed a total of 11,717 personnel in the provincial units and affiliated organizations of the Ministry in the 2019-2020 period. In his statement, Pakdemirli, who announced that they will recruit new permanent agricultural workers to work in the provincial organization of the ministry, said, “826 workers to be recruited will be determined by lot among those who meet the necessary conditions through İŞKUR. Therefore, there will be no interviews during the recruitment process.” Minister Pakdemirli made the following statements about the personnel recruitment in the 2019-2020 period: “During this period, the central and provincial units of our Ministry were sent 2,419 as veterinarians, agricultural engineers, agricultural workers and civil servants, 6,90 to the General Directorate of Forestry, 545 to the State Water Affairs, 100 to the General Directorate of Meteorology, 231 to the Turkish Grain Board, 911 to ÇAYKUR. We recruited 496 personnel to the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises, 810 to the Agricultural Credit Cooperatives and 115 to the Meat and Milk Institution.”
