Foreigners Continue to Purchase Stocks and Bonds
Foreigners continue to purchase stocks and bonds. Foreign investors continued to buy securities last week, according to data released by the Central Bank.
Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (
CBRT) has released its Weekly Securities Statistics.
According to the published data, while non-residents bought net 389.7 million dollars of
stocks in the week of November 20, this figure was recorded as 614.4 million dollars the previous week. The stock of non-residents was 25.2 billion dollars.
Foreign purchase of Government Domestic Debt Instruments (GDS) was recorded as 175.5 million dollars. Foreigners had bought government securities worth $ 293.9 million in the previous week. Foreigners' government securities stock reached 6.15 billion dollars at the level of 5.80 billion dollars.
When all stocks and treasury bonds are analyzed, it is seen that foreigners purchased securities at the level of net 565.2 million dollars last week.
Purchase of Corporate Securities (SBS) was recorded as $ 7.2 million last week, compared with $ 19.8 million the previous week.
