BIST 100 Index Broke a Record on Thursdays Closing
BIST 100 index broke a record on Thursdays closing. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.06 percent, bringing the closing record to 1,625.06 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the
BIST 100 index, which increased by 0.97 points compared to the previous close, was recorded as 34.2 billion TL.
At the closing, the banking index gained 1.42 percent, while the holding index lost 0.61 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest earner was construction with 2.96 percent, while the most decline was recorded on transportation with 1.61%.
In Borsa Istanbul, BIST 100 index increased its value by 0.06 percent and completed the day at 1,625.06 points, renewing its closing record, and carrying its highest level record to 1,643.82 points.
Analysts stated that the uncertainties regarding the bond payments of Chinese real estate giant Evergrande continue to affect the markets. Stating that the statements of the world's leading central banks' officials will be at the focal point of the markets tomorrow, the analysts stated that the industrial production and market participants survey in the country, industrial production in the Eurozone and consumer confidence index in the USA will be monitored closely.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.650 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.570 stands out as the support for the
BIST 100 index.
