BIST 100 Index Started The Day With A Decline
BIST 100 index started the day with a decline. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,995.68 points with a decrease of 0,33 percent.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 6.56 points and 0.33 percent compared to the previous close, decreased to 1,995.68 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 1.05 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 0.37 percent. While insurance was the highest earner with 0.18 percent among the sector indices, while the most decline was recorded on banking.
BIST 100 index, which started the day with a rise yesterday and started to decline with the sales in the afternoon, closed the day at 2.002.24 points with a depreciation of 0.65 percent.
Analysts stated that the risk appetite in global stock markets decreased with the balance sheets announced after the markets in the USA closed, and said that today the focus of investors is on inflation data in the country and the monetary policy decisions of the European and
UK central banks.
Pointing out that stock-based activity may increase as the balance sheet disclosures of companies traded in Borsa Istanbul begin to intensify, analysts noted that today's data calendar also highlights the services sector and the combined Purchasing Managers Index, as well as factory orders and durable goods orders in the USA.
In technical terms, it was stated that the levels of 2.035 and 2.050 levels are in the resistance position and the level of 1.990 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
