BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Tuesday with a rise. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,538.91 points, gaining 0.17 percent value.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.58 points and 0.17 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,538.91 points. While the banking index gained 0.40 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.15 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest earner was sports with 2.35 percent, while the most losing one was mining with 1.72 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul carried its upward trend for the 10th consecutive trading day and closed the day at 1,536.32 points with 0.94 percent value gain. Thus, the BIST 100 index made its highest closing since March 18. Analysts stated that the positive trend in domestic markets has continued since the beginning of October, and that the US Federal Reserve's (FED) interest rate decision, which will be announced tomorrow, will be important for the future direction of the markets. It is stated that today, in addition to the statements of the European Central Bank officials, the manufacturing industry Purchasing Managers Index data to be announced in the Euro Zone and Germany will be followed. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.550 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.490 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
