BIST 100 Index Started Wednesday With An Increase

BIST 100 index started Wednesday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,618.06 points, gaining 0.15 percent value.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.42 points and 0.15 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1,618.06 points. While the banking index gained 0.06 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.51 percent. Among the sector indices, forest paper printing was the highest earner with 0.71 percent, while the most decline was recorded on metal main industry with 0.52 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.44 percent, bringing its closing record to 1,615.64 points and its highest level record to 1,631.45 points. Analysts said the profit sales, which increased its effect at record levels in the New York stock market yesterday, and the Producer Price Index announced in China with 13.5%, reached the highest level of the last 26 years and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) reached the highest level of 13 months with 1.5%. Stating that a negative course was followed in the global stock markets with the effect of the fluctuation, analysts noted that the positive divergence in Borsa Istanbul attracted attention. It was reported that today, the inflation data to be announced in the USA and Germany will be closely monitored by investors. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1,760 stands out as the support and the level of 1,800 is in a position of resistance for the BIST 100 index.
