BIST 100 Started The Week With Gains

BIST 100 index started the week with gains. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the week at 2.004.29 points with an increase of 1.06 percent.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 21.11 points and 1.06 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 2.004.29 points. While the banking index gained 0.87 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 1.15 percent. While all sector indices started the day with an increase, highest increase was recorded on transportation with 2.01 percent. BIST 100 index, which followed a sales-weighted course on Friday, lost 0.73 percent and closed at 1,983.18 points. Analysts stated that the risk appetite in global stock markets has increased relatively due to the decrease in the uncertainty regarding the monetary policy decisions of the US Federal Reserve, and said that the news that the regulations regarding technology companies in China has come to an end also support the stock markets. It was stated that today, the foreign trade balance in the country, the growth in the Eurozone, inflation in Germany and the Chicago Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) and Dallas Fed manufacturing index data in the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 2.050 is in a position of resistance, and the levels of 1.960 and 1.930 are in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
