BIST 100 Started Wednesday With A Record
BIST 100 index started Wednesday with a record. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,997.15 points with an increase of 0.45 percent.

BIST 100 index, which gained 16.11 points and 0.45 percent compared to the previous close, reached an all-time high with 1,997.15 points.
While the banking index gained 0.58 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 1.44 percent. Among the sector indices, forest, paper and printing were the highest earners with 1.47 percent, while the only decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 0.61 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased by 2.78 percent compared to the previous closing, bringing the closing record to 1,981.04 points.
Analysts noted that global risk appetite increased as concerns about the Omicron variant emerging in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic decreased.
