Ethereum Miners Revenue Declines In May. According to the news of Hardware News, based on The Block Research data, the revenues of Ethereum miners suffered a serious loss last month. Accordingly, miners, who earned $969.4 million in May, lost 27.2 percent compared to the previous month.
It was learned that the majority of these revenues, $888.95 million, came from block subsidies, while a relatively small amount of $80.46 million came from transaction fees. The decrease in the share of transaction fees in total revenue was another noteworthy detail.
Despite the negative data, Ethereum miners earned 1.08 times more revenue than Bitcoin miners in May.
