Minister Nebati gave information about the occupancy rates of hotels in Istanbul in April and May, and gave the following statements: "In Istanbul, hotel occupancy is currently at 92 percent in May. In April, it's hovering around 68 percent. In other words, hotels in Istanbul will be unable to accommodate visitors next month. In Istanbul, hotels will be hard to come by in May. Arabs have alreadu begun to arrive. Saudis will begin to arrive as well. Our expectations regarding tourism are very good. I believe that we will exceed our 45 million tourists and 35 billion dollars revenue target in tourism. Expenditures are increasing, incoming people are staying too much. Currently, there are those who close the hotels for 2-3 months.”
