When asked whether he will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his trip to Saudi Arabia, which is planned to take place next month, United States President Joe Biden said, "I will not meet with Mohammed bin Salman, I am going there for an international meeting. He (Muhammad Bin Salman) is also a part of this meeting.”
Just before President Biden boarded the plane to Delaware on next month's trip to Saudi Arabia a journalist asked, "When you go to Saudi Arabia, how will you handle the murder of (Journalist Jamal) Khashoggi?" He replied, "How I have handled it until now. I will not meet with Mohammed bin Salman, I am going there for an international meeting. He (Muhammad Bin Salman) is also a part of this meeting."
Joe Biden, when asked about the allegations that 3 American citizens were abducted in Ukraine, said, "I have informed about this issue. I do not know where these people are, but I would like to remind the Americans again that now is not the time to go to Ukraine."
The White House announced that Biden will visit Israel and Saudi Arabia on July 13-16 and will meet with Mohammed bin Salman as part of his contacts there.
