Skechers Will Establish A Virtual Store In The Metaverse

Skechers will establish a viruatl store in the metaverse. Skechers will open a virtual store in Decentraland.

With the rapid adoption of the Metaverse concept, many brands accelerated their work in this area. This time, a new venture was made by Skechers, one of the third largest sneaker brands in the USA. The sneaker brand has signed a lease to open a store in Decentraland's Fashion District. Skechers has also filed a number of international trademark applications for the sale of virtual goods such as shoes and clothing, as it plans to continue expanding into the digital world. The store to be opened by Skechers in the Fashion District is located in the region where Decentraland will host the first Metaverse Fashion Week, which will be held between 24-27 March. Making a statement on the subject, Skechers President Michael Greenberg said the following:

“Our Decentraland deal is an investment in our future. We are looking forward to ushering in this virtual age and exploring creative ways for our brand to engage with new customers and audiences as we launch the new Skechers experience.”
