Export Expectation Index Highest of the Last 10 Years
Export expectation index highest of the last 10 years in Turkey. The data in question increased by 17.1 points to 132.
The
Ministry of Commerce announced the Foreign Trade Expectation Survey for the second quarter of 2021.
According to the announced data, the
Export Expectation Index increased by 17.1 points in the period in question compared to the previous quarter. The index, which was 114.9 in the first quarter, reached 132 in the second quarter of this year. The index increased by 20.9 points compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the second quarter of the year, export expectation for the next 3 months, export order expectation, currently registered export order level affected the Export Expectation Index to increase, while evaluations regarding the export order level for the last 3 months decreased.
Import Expectation Index Decreased
The Import Expectation Index for the second quarter of 2021 was 111.6, with a 1.2 point decrease compared to the first quarter. The index increased by 3.4 points compared to the same period of the previous year.
Import Expectation Index for the next 3 months, import unit price expectation and evaluations regarding the currently registered import order level questions have affected the index to increase, while the evaluations regarding the import order level for the last 3 months have decreased.
