Facebook Extends Temporary Ban On Political Ads One More Month Facebook extends its temporary ban on political ads for another month. The election has ended, but the people have not been able to get away from it! Before Election Day in the US, Facebook has decided to stop all political and social advertising. The company has made it clear that the precautionary measure designed to prevent spreading from a potential source of misinformation would be temporary, but it was unable to say how long this policy would remain in effect. Now Facebook says the temporary ban will continue for at least another month. The decision to expand this specially designed policy came into effect four days after Joe Biden's victory. The company, in its previous statement, wrote that “temporarily stopping advertisements on politics and social issues in the US continues as part of our ongoing efforts to protect the election.” “Advertisers can expect this to take another month, but this could also create an opportunity to resume ads sooner.”   A coherent Senate to reshape the American economy; Facebook's Rob Leathern detailed this decision in a series of tweets. Noting that special election measures will remain in place until the results are approved, Leathern said, “We know people are disappointed that we cannot immediately activate ads for the runoff election in Georgia and other states.” Facebook's continued political ad restriction is hurting things in the state of Georgia; There will be second round elections in this state on January 2 and it will be decided which party will control the administration of the Senate of President-Elected Biden. A coherent Senate to reshape the American economy; Necessary for Biden's biggest promises, including a $ 2 trillion climate package that could push towards an electricity-based future that is not based on fossil fuels. In the last few days, many Republicans have formally "made fun of" the president Trump's refusal to hand over power, despite a firm election call and Biden's decisive victory in Pennsylvania. The Trump campaign's recent effort has so far offered little content on legal deficiencies. Perhaps this is interpreted as dividing a nation or raising suspicion rather than seeking rights in court.   Source: https://techcrunch.com/   You may also be interested in: Biden's Choice for the Treasury Ministry is Yellen!
