Fake Apple and Tesla Shares on Blockchain
Fake Apple and Tesla shares began trading on the blockchain. The adaptability of exchanges to blockchain is questioned.
For many years, Wall Street wondered whether it would be viable to shift exchanges to the cryptocurrency technology blockchain. Now the creators of the rapidly growing and developing decentralized finance (DeFi) have developed copies of the stocks of some of the world's giant companies.
With the Mirror Protocol and Synthetix projects, fake twins of some popular ETFs have also been created, along with fake shares of big companies like
Tesla, Apple, Amazon.
With the programs and tokens that allow trading, it becomes possible to price the securities that are followed without actually trading shares or ETFs.
Currently, the volumes appear to be low in these transactions. However, it is stated that these new products may meet with investor interest for those who trade in the cryptocurrency markets.
