FAST Period Begins At The CBRT!

The FAST period begins at the CBRT. Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, in preparation of the new payment system called FAST has been announced the end point. The system is expected to be put into service on December 18. In the statement made by Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), it was expressed in the completion of the preparation for a new payment system. Thanks to the system called FAST (Instant and Continuous Transfer of Funds), it is aimed for citizens to transfer money between their accounts in different banks 24/7. It is envisaged that the FAST payment system will be put into practice as a pilot application as of December 18 and gradually open to the use of citizens. In addition to the FAST System, the Easy Addressing System, which enables payments to be initiated using information such as phone number, identity number or e-mail address, will also be put into service.
